Odds - Rules and FAQ

Odds is placing a bet on a choice which you think it will outcome. You can compare it with horse-races. You can place all your money on 1 horse, but also place 3 different bets on 3 different horses. The same we've applied here in our forum for our upcoming cups starting with Nation Cup #3.

Everybody starts with 10.000 forumcoints (later I will calculate how much 10.000 is in real money) and can convert it to real money (euro or dollar). You can place on every official match (official match contains a real admin spectating the cupwar and be confirmed by the headadmin on a cup).

You got different Bet values and Count values:

Bet values: This is the amount of bet placing before a cupwar starts. The minimum bet is 250, after that 500, 750 and maximum is 1000.

Count values: This is how much the amount of the bet will be multiplied with the value of the count value. For example if you've played 500 on a choice and the choice outcome in your advantage and the count value is 1.5x, you'll receive 750 on your forumcoints account.


You don't have to place odds on every choice, only on the ones that you fit. But for inactivity you will get a reducing amount on your account, you must at least place your odds on 1 choice per time. You got +- 1 week every time to place your odd. Placing 2 odds and after that placing no odd doesn't count! That's your own risk.
If you've placed your odd on a player that won't play in the line-up, it will be replaced by the player who plays for him. If there are more than 2 players not in the line-up, you'll get your forumcoints back.

Max 1000 is stupid. It should be without the limit.

u got 10.000 points to start, the maximum bet you can place is 1000 idd,
ill ask lumi about it xzi, maybe we can change it to unlimited when the quarters start

There is a maximum bet because you must place at least on every opportunity where odds will be, for example that means if a new nation plays against the champion that everybody will put 10.000 on champion, so I tried to avoid that. Maybe there is a way to put maximum higher, I'll think about it.

Then make it that you can only make bets during the playoffs.
